Dorothy Simmons (Simmons-W 2000)
Named after my grandmother, this plant
is one of my favorites. It
stands at a nice 25 inches, midseason, 4 1/2 inch flower, dormant, diploid,
and bitone in color. It has cream/light wine red in the sepals and has light
wine red/cream in the petals. Has a bright yellow eyezone above a yellow green
throat. Also has a few ruffles on the petals, making it very attractive. Pollen and Pod fertile
